Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September 21 1983) is an American actress best well-known for her role as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington, Ohio and dropped out of school when her parents separated to go in Los Angeles to live with her mother. While struggling financially she landed her first acting gig as the title character in the web-based video show Rachel's Room in 2001. The role she played in the role of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV film Murder In Greenwich in 2002, earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. In 2004 Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost in which she was a main cast member for the first two seasons winning an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble.
